Wig during surgery

For those who have had their spine fused already, do you think it would be OK that I wore my wig during the surgery? It’s actually just a topper that clips on to what little hair I do have.

I was hoping they would put one of those hair bonnet things on my head as well. I am terrified they’ll make me take it off and my bald patchy head will just be exposed for the duration of the surgery.

I know this seems trivial but it’s what I’m most afraid of leading up to this! Because what if I get done with surgery and I’m still out of it and people come to visit and I look like Cynthia from RugRats!!
