Thankful for the choice of exclusively pumping

My LO is just about two weeks old. The first week of his life was spent in the NICU, which was the most stressful and anxiety ridden time of my life. While in the NICU, he learned to take bottles really well while I was pumping. We tried to BF, but after a few times of it not happening the way we wanted to, my husband and I decided to officially do bottles and pumping.

Not having anxiety worrying about how much he is eating, being able to have bottles on the ready whenever he is hungry, and being able to have others feed him instead of just only me has been truly life changing for my mental health.

I am sure I will change my mentality right now, but as a first time mom learning more every day, I am thankful I made the choice of exclusively pumping ❤️
