The game never saved

I played for 4 hours, having a jolly time.
Eventually died to a drowner jumpscare while tracking down some arsonist and when the game loaded I was in corvo bianco level 90. Obv a previous save which I thought shouldn’t work. Tried to load the new run and there is no save to load, playthrough just gone.

Now, should I have tried to manually save the game in these 4 hours? Yeah. But I would expect the game to try to save once at least. No required save when you exit the prologue? Or when it tries to auto save and failed the game should have given me some kind of indication for that.

I will be waiting till they fix this remaster, really disappointing.
