Do toys still feel personal when you’re in a relationship?

I’ve noticed there’s a weird difference between using a toy alone and using the exact same thing with someone else there.

Alone, it can feel completely normal.

Then your partner is in the room and suddenly you’re way more aware of what you’re doing, how you look, whether they’re watching too closely.

It’s not necessarily uncomfortable, just a lot more exposed.

Which made me wonder if toys can still feel like a private thing even when you’re totally open with your partner about having them.

Maybe sharing everything and feeling private about some things aren’t actually opposites.
