Compensation after conciliation
Back in June my flight along with 3 other family members under the same reservation was delayed and was eligible for compensation. I applied and Wizz Air denied it claiming it was outside of their control.
However I work in the industry, and I tracked all the aircraft swaps they did and it was pretty clear at the end the delay was crew shortage after utilizing the aircraft assigned to my flight on another route. I went through the italian conciliation process as it was a flight from FCO. The conciliator drafted an agreement for Wizz Air to pay the €1000 Euros owed and they signed.
My understanding is that the conciliator cannot force an agreement, but after the agreement is signed it is legally binding per some italian law mentioned on the document. Wizz Air has 90 days to pay. The 90 days expire the first week of October and I haven't heard from them.
What should I do if they do not pay by the deadline? There is no email to contact them and calling from Canada is complicated.
Thanks in advance
