Xlr cable spool

Hello,

I am looking at getting a large spool of microphone cable to make diy xlr cables. I am looking and deciding between Canare and Mogami. I am familiar with Mogami but not with canare and I have read that canare is more durable however, it is more expensive for the spool from what I have found. Thoughts on what to get or is Mogami good? I am planning on using these cables for live settings as well as recording studio. My budget is around 250 for this
