are there any low-commitment theatre orgs at ut?

tl;dr: is there any org like album of the week but for theatre where people get together to talk about plays/musicals/general theatre but don’t necessarily perform?

basically, i grew up doing theatre and it’s such a passion of mine, but career-wise i‘m a cns major so none of my classes/orgs overlap. i’m pre-med and don’t have enough time to join the theatre guild or orgs like that where you perform and have a consistent rehearsal schedule. i would if i could.

i was wondering if there’s anythin out there where you can talk about musicals, plays, and theatre (maybe even do some improv)? or even a group of people who go to texas performing arts to watch shows on tour. kinda like the “album of the week” club. if anyone knows anything like this i‘d super appreciate it! or even something in the greater austin area like how speakeasy’s has jazz nights. thank youuuuu
