I’m building a job search tool. What would actually make your search less frustrating?
Hey everyone — I’m Alex, a solo developer working on a project called OfferTailwind.
I’m building it around three parts of the job search: keeping applications organized, managing resumes, and reducing repetitive form filling with a browser copilot.
It’s still early, and I’m preparing a small beta. Before taking it further, I’d like to understand where people actually need help.
What’s one part of your job search that you wish you could stop doing manually?
Is it keeping track of applications and follow-ups? Remembering which resume you sent? Entering the same information on different websites? Or something I’m missing entirely?
I’d also love to hear what you currently use — a spreadsheet, notes, another app — and what works well enough that you wouldn’t want to replace it.
To be transparent, I’m the person building this. Any feedback would help me decide what to focus on next.
