Osmosis Review

Nice festival. Feels like it’s finding its legs.

The good.

With the right DJ the barn is a really intimate, magical space. Kia was a revelation. Totally burned it down on Friday close. The whole room was packed until the very end. The vibe was immaculate.

Vlada is a witch. In the best way. Played under a full moon or nearly so. One of the most interesting DJs working today.

Succubass is criminally under appreciated. Discovery of the weekend for me.

When the music was right, the lounge felt like a really special place to be. Especially the canopy in the trees. OK EG shined here.

Good wholesome community vibes all weekend. So much friendlier than the festivals on the east coast.

The bad.

Art program feels like it needs to be more intentional.

The lighting could use a bit more umph.

Lady with the siren on Saturday morning. Terrifying.

Some of the scheduling was a bit confusing to me. Like Fart playing at 8pm in the town square while everyone’s eating dinner.

Biggest gripe was there was no middle ground between the woods and the lounge. Everyone seemed to be asleep even when the DJ was playing music with a danceable beat. I feel like some space to move could be carved out here.
