Years ago someone said they put a curse on me.

In 2020 I started getting my life together, things were going great I was happier than I’ve ever been. However in 2022 a guy that had a crush on me who was really weird - who I ignored said he put a curse on me. I thought it was a joke & replied “lol” (over text). He said he wasn’t joking & that he was being serious. After 2022 my life began to fall apart & things have been really rough for me with not that much changing in my life that would cause as much trouble for me so idky my life has been falling apart for 4 years now.

I know this is going to sound superstitious but did his curse work? Am I just being paranoid?
