Is it safe to buy in E-Bay?

is it safe to buy 3ds in eBay? I'm very new new to buying in these platforms, I don't usually buy online but I really like 3ds and saving up for this , it's not very popular here so it's soo hard to find one. I live in the Philippines and unfamiliar of eBay

is it safe? because in other platforms there's a lot of obvious scamming
