Question about Vanguard and League in 2026 compard to 2019/20

Basically considering on returning to league after 3 to 4 years of not playing.

Was wondering if Vanguard still has technical issues along with the League client or has it toned down from the past couple years? I know theres something about BIOS settings that you can edit to make it so that its "Vanguard on Demand" but thats all I know so I was wondering if anyone has issues regarding that too.

Is the launcher for the game still a mess or did they actually do the bare minimum and make it a bit better to how it was?
