People online who feel the need to be contrarians towards everything

Just saw a video of someone making latte art the “right” and “wrong” way, with the first clip being slightly off looking and the second clip being perfectly clean looking. Of course, all of the top comments were “I would want the first one”, “the first one looks better”, etc.

I understand that some people genuinely do have a different opinion, but it becomes so obvious when they just say things to feel different. ESPECIALLY when they don’t even explain why they feel that way and just say “are we not allowed to have different opinions!?”. People are definitely like this IRL too, I just feel like it’s 100x more common online
