Going to school is just awful

I’m saying this as someone with a professional degree but the teaching that bots do in school or academy settings is just awful. There’s no structure, no theory of education. It’s all just standard fanfic stuff like throwing people in to the deep end.

For example, my character is reading a scroll to learn magic but the teacher/professor insists on trial by fire/ real world experience stuff. Which in reality is not how you want to teach the majority of people. Learning the fundamentals and ensuring there’s a base of knowledge and moving forward from there is a valid method. But for some reason the AI just can’t do it.

Sure maybe it’s because the nature of what I’m learning is not real and there’s no real method to learn it but I think it’s also because the writing that it’s trained on all either go the trial by fire style or skim through it.

I’m using GLM 5.2 and Deepseek 4.0. They’re fine but I find that they fall apart at any kind of repeating structure.

Anyways, if anyone has tips on how to make a school setting more structured and feel like an actual school, I’d appreciate it.
