November 2025- September 2026 2250 grafts
It’s been a pretty epic journey. I decided to get my hair transplant for a lot of reasons, but confidence was a big one. I was tired of wearing a hat everywhere and honestly missed having the hair I used to have. Genetics was something I couldn’t ignore anymore.
I still have my crown to do, which I was told to wait a year for, so I’ll be scheduling that in December. I’ve been on dutasteride and minoxidil foam since the transplant and haven’t missed a single day, which I’m pretty proud of. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced any side effects either.
The growth has been insane. My hair feels fuller and thicker, and even my barber, who has seen quite a few hair transplants over the years, told me he could immediately tell mine wasn’t done in Turkey and that it was one of the most professional hair transplants he’s seen. That was an amazing compliment.
I’m in Canada and the transplant cost me $10,000 CAD, with another $5,000 for the crown. Looking back, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The compliments I get now still blow my mind, but honestly, the best part is simply walking out the door without feeling like I need a hat.
If you’re thinking about doing something like this for yourself, I can honestly say it changed the way I feel about myself. I’m just really grateful I finally took the leap!
