Anyone who attended the Project Management Apprenticeship interview (2026/2027) — how was your experience?

I have my first virtual interview coming up for a Project Management Apprenticeship, and I’m looking for some guidance on how to prepare.

If anyone has attended the interview for this apprenticeship recently — whether it’s for the current 2027 cycle or last year’s interview — I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience.

I’m especially curious about:

What was the interview like?

What kind of questions were asked?

What should I focus on preparing?

Was it mostly about your background, motivation, teamwork and experiences, or were there technical/project management questions too?

Did they ask about your academic projects or internships?

Any tips on how to approach the virtual interview and what you wish you had prepared beforehand?
