Help me travel gear for my new FUJI XM5

Hello all, I've recently purchased xm5 solely because of its size and to use it on my travels. But I am not sure how to carry it around. Will a normal sling bag be good enough (with no cushioning) or would I need to buy a camera sling bag?

And also suggest a tripod which is not heavy on the bank. I'm travelling to Japan, so you could also suggest if I should buy any gear there instead of India.
