Should there be more noticeable differences between HOTD and GOT in terms of architecture, speech, clothing, and culture?

HOTD takes place about ~200 years before GOT, right? But you wouldn’t really know it based on how similar the cultures and societies look and feel. Shouldn’t there be more noticeable changes over that amount of time, like differences in accents, the way people speak and carry themselves, clothing, architecture, customs, or other cultural details?
