I’m almost done with the Base Game of Dungeons 1. Should I do the dlc or the difficulty levels next?

I got like two more levels of the base game left, one secret level and then the final one. I already own all the DLC so that’s not a problem! I also decided to ask this because I don’t know how the DLC interacts with the difficulty settings since I’ve been avoiding touching the DLC so I don’t get any spoilers before beating the base game!
