[TOMT] [Horror Movie] a horror movie possibly from late 1990s to early 2000s that I used to watch as a kid.

So, many years ago (more than 15 years ago to be exact), I used to watch this horror movie with my dad on TV where the plot looks like this:

A family of four(?) are going home or visiting someone during Thanksgiving/Christmas at night. During their journey, they picked a lone empty road with thick forest all around them. If I remember correctly, this isn't the first time they have passed this road. After driving for hours, they realized that the scenery hasn't changed at all and they noticed that the moon is staying at the same spot. They should've been at home right now. There's no traffic either so the road is completely empty. One of their childrens also noticed an empty, abandoned house on the side of the road and it's the only man-made structure they've seen so far. Another hour has passed and nothing has changed and they begin to realize that they're stuck and looping in this weird "dimension". The same house is also appeared over and over again. With them running out of their gas, they decided to stay in that house. Little did they know, that house is haunted with evil ghost that wants to kill them. I think, the ghost is going to kill them by tricking their mind so they'd kill each other.

I'm not going to describe the entire movie, basically in the end the whole family has been killed by the ghost. But one of their kids survived the ordeal and after that, police and paramedics are arriving on scene. Does anyone know what this movie called? It was the only time I watched this movie and it seems like nobody ever talked about it.
