Which is a good first car to buy?

Hi fellow Redditors,

I know this is probably a topic asked and discussed a lot here, and I've read most of them, but I just wanted to see if I can get the latest most up to date advice.

I wanna buy my first car but I don't really have any knowledge with kereta.

- My monthly income is around RM5k so I'm looking at the most affordable local cars.

- I'm quite tall (over 6 ft), so I was thinking of getting a sedan instead of a hatchback.

- I don't really care too much about the car's appearance. I'll be travelling alot within KL / Selangor cuz my workplace is pretty far, so fuel efficiency is quite important to me. But then again, I also hope for a comfortable driving experience seeing that I'll be in the car alot. This brings me to a question for those with experience, is the fuel consumption worth the trade off for comfort and better driving experience?

- I was looking at the Bezza, Saga, Persona and newly released S70. In terms of fuel efficiency and maintenance fees (and maybe future resalability?) which would be the best choice for me now?
