Acer Nitro 5 vs Alienware 17 R4 — would you make this trade?

Hey everyone, I need some advice.

I currently have an Acer Nitro 5 with an i5-9300H, GTX 1650 4GB and 16GB RAM.

Someone offered me an Alienware 17 R4 with an i7-6700HQ, GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB RAM and SSD + HDD.

I know the Alienware is much older, but the GTX 1070 is considerably more powerful than the GTX 1650. I mainly use my laptop for gaming and programming, so GPU performance is important to me.

The Alienware battery is dead/removed, so it only works plugged in. I'm not really concerned about that since I normally use my laptop plugged in anyway.

My Nitro isn't perfect either: it has some keyboard marks on the screen and one of the ports is occasionally unreliable.

Is there anything specific I should check on an Alienware 17 R4 before considering a trade like this? Especially regarding thermals, motherboard/GPU issues, hinges, or other age-related problems.
