could someone explain pieces to me as an ultra subscribers perspective?

i’ve always had ultra and 0 pieces. i’ve never needed to purchase any pieces, it’s always been 0 with my chats set as unlimited. so why do i suddenly need to buy pieces? i cant even start a new quick chat or anything without the annoying pieces pop-up. since i have unlimited, wouldn’t my chats be… unlimited???

is there seriously no way for me to chat with ANY of my bots without paying for pieces? do i get pieces refreshed daily? and since im ultra, i can’t do the daily free pieces.

and if anyone has really good alternative apps lmk. im very much considering switching platforms
