Pls help!! my quest 2 is stuck in an infinite loop of black screen with seemingly no way out
My Quest 2 is stuck on a black screen when i boot it up. It shows the Meta logo for a bit, then shows black. No matter what i do, no matter what buttons i hold and for however long, the only things that ever appear on the screen are the Meta logo, charging battery life, and Android "No command". It doesn't turn off on it's own either, it's just stuck on a black screen until it dies or i manage to shut it off by holding down just the power button for a while (which has since seemingly stopped working the more i tried).
I've held down the power and volume down buttons, but no menu ever pops up, and it just resets and goes back to black after the Meta logo. The menu that pops up when you hold the power button while it's working was always buggy, it would never show up until the last second before it just restarted, so i assume that's why no menus will pop up here. The controllers buzz when the Meta logo pops up, but they are unusable, and there is no boot up noise.
Charging is just fine, the sensors are fine, the LED on the side is fine, it acts as normal as possible despite the black screen but i can't do anything to make it work. The only thing i can think of is there being dust or grime in the fan or something of the sorts considering this was my sibling's for a few months before it was passed to me, but i really don't know.
I don't know what to do, I've only had this VR for almost a year, and i really hope i don't have to get repairs or buy a new one. I can't contact support or use the app since nothing is linked to my meta account, my sister was the "owner" of the device and insisted i keep her owner profile on there even though the device was mine now, so nothing is linked to me.
Is there any possible way i could fix this? Or do i have to give up? :(
