Questions About World Brothers 2

I'm considering buying World Brothers 2 on the Switch 2 but I have questions about co-op.

1. Is it possible to share the game with someone else using a different system in the same room? I've tried reading how all the sharing stuff works but it hasn't really clicked if co-op works with one copy or not.

2. Why is THIS the game, out of all of them, the one where they decided we wouldn't want to do couch co-op with our nephew or little brother or whatever??? 🤦‍♂️ (Rhetorical question)
