Night time thoughts
I’m sure you know that I love you. I wasn’t ever supposed to. We met under casual agreements. I was at a place in my life where I had fully accepted that everyone lies, everyone abuses, and everyone uses. I had literally gave my everything to people who never deserved me, so many different times. I had only ever been deceived. I would never allow myself to experience that false hope again. I’d forever move forward cautiously and steer clear of all future grievances. I met you with the intentions of pleasure, and assumptions of a short term fling. But Honestly, no one has ever showed me this much kindness in my entire life. You are consistent and reliable. I listen to your ideas about life, and I resonate with your empathy. I have witnessed you help strangers, and observed your protective nature. You’re incredibly considerate, and willing to learn from different viewpoints. You are humble, cautious, and resilient. You are not tainted by your own mistreatments. You are incredibly positive. I truly admire your passion to help and care for others. You listen to everything, and remember the little things. You value my honesty and respect my opinions. For the first time in my life, I met someone who actually stands true to their word. You’ve got a magnificent ability to speak power and motivation to others. You walk in wisdom and wish no bad will on others. 7 months, and I can barely recall a single complaint. You are grateful and appreciative. You are a shining light to everyone you come in contact with. I would never want to penetrate our boundaries. I would never imagine myself expecting to pressure you into anything more than what we’ve established. However, I struggle with selfishness. As I 100% know that you are astonishing, you are actually 1 in a million. You are incredibly rare. I cherish our relationship, as vague as it is. I admire your generosity, and your brilliance. You have an innate ability to make someone feel understood. Your laugh is contagious and you share endless joy. You follow your dreams, and stand firm on your words. Sometimes I wish we could be more.
