Mini Kelly vs B30 difficulty?

My wife and I started shopping at Hermès about 13 months ago. Around 8 months in, she was offered her dream bag (from her VERY narrow wishlist), a B30 in Craie with GHW. I think our prespend at that point was around 1.25:1, although part of that was a men’s watch for me.

When we first started shopping she had zero interest in a Mini Kelly, but apparently that has changed 😂

With the B30 she was pretty specific because she knew exactly what she wanted. If she decides to ask for an MK, she would be a lot more flexible. Mostly neutrals like black, grey, Etoupe, white, Craie, etc. Either hardware would probably be fine. Really the only neutral she knows she doesn’t want is Gold.

For people who have been offered both, how much harder is a Mini Kelly to get compared to a B30?

I know the MK is obviously very competitive, but I’m trying to get a feel for whether it’s just harder than a B30 or if it’s basically a completely different ballgame.

For some additional context, I’m potentially looking at another men’s automatic watch and she has been looking at one of the quartz watches. Otherwise most of our shopping is pretty naturally spread around between shoes, RTW, belts, fashion jewelry, swimwear, etc. We’re not really buying random stuff just to build prespend.

Fairly competitive West Coast boutique if that makes a difference.
