Are fakes rare?

I've been buying things on depop and ebay recently and was wondering how commonly faked a lot of these Japanese heritage brands are. Especially after seeing that there are fake whitesville tees on ebay, I wanted to know if it's more common than I was expecting. Are there other Japanese heritage brands that have a counterfeit market?
