Currently just rocking a torch and OM1 Mk2 with a 30mm lens.

Do not plan on replacing the camera any time soon as I’m no where near good enough to get anything more out of a camera and honestly, I think these photos are incredible even with imperfect lighting and settings, no need yet.

I currently run a tray and have experimented with my instructors double strobe set up (apologies I don’t know the correct terms all the time, he taught me everything I know and we communicate mostly in my second language, Chinese).

My main concerns are:

If I want to buy double strobes, these 3 photos were all taken at imperfect macro sites, on walls, in current and one even upside down. I can’t imagine being able to align the strobes in these conditions and adjust. I saw sometimes they have redlight until the flash, what strobe do you recommend for this? Do laser pointers exist for this?

The knobbly arms. I hate adjusting these ball joints during a dive, too loose and they fall off, too tight and they don’t move, and only 3 points of movement, surely there’s something better?

I’m not sure the name of this, I think it’s a TV, but essentially a viewport that makes viewing the image easier during the dive, maybe a telescope? He had one and it was incredible although rather cheap, I wonder if there are better options, recommendations?

Looking to upgrade my macro set-up, any divers with good experience and recommendations?
