I (28F) on a date with my friend (24M) without knowing it?

So background. I (28 f) have a large friend group that we often does things together. Things like friendsgiving white elephant parties going to see movies/Musicals, participate in musicals and other shows etc. The theater part is important here. So I got tickets for free to go see a show at local theater of a touring broadway show. I ask my friend (24 M) if he wanted to go because I put it in our group chat on snapchat and no one responded, so I shoot him a text. We are about to start a show where we will work together, so I thought, hey, this might be a good time to hang out a little and talk about ideas, I had for the show.

So we text and he offers to drive and pick me up. I said sure thing. When he gets there he proceeds get out of his car and walk around to open the door for me. We drive, we park, and we are walking to the theater. Just chatting as we walk. So far, nothing is raising an eyebrow, and then we get in and he's always like after you, ladies First I am a gentleman after all.. we find our seats and settle down. And I decided I wanted to grab a drink, so I left to go grab a drink, and i'm thinking about how he's acted so far. I asked the two older ladies behind me. Do you think i'm on a date right now? And I explain my situation. They tell me this is definitely a date. I then proceed to go grab my drink and go back to zid down next to him. The show is going great. And then an emission hits, and we both get app because we want to stretch our legs, and then when we go back to sit, I'm like, hey, can i switch sides with you because I need to be able to stretch my legs out a little bit, and there's no one sitting on the other side of him. ( I have a bad knee) anyways, the show goes great, and we're walking to the car and he again goes and opens the door for me. We proceed to just sit in the car and talk for a bit to let traffic in the parking lot to die down a bit before we attempt to go home. We're chatting and just having a good old conversation while he drives me home. And then we sit in my driveway for about maybe fifteen or twenty minutes just chatting before I realize how late it and we decided to call ut a night. Before I get out of the car, he leans over and we hug goodbye. Now I can't sleep, and i'm not sure if I actually went on a date or not.
