How long after surgery did you resume your gym?

After a month i resumee my gym and then i felt some kind of seroma fluid under my areola region so i was wearing compression vest and i started wearing it again, it's the 2nd week since i resumed my gym and i wanted to know how long did yoi guys wait for before resuming the gym because i am told by the doctor that 6 months no gym or else there might be reucrrence.
