Does anyone else switch better controller and keyboard or am I insane lol

I am not much of a gamer, naturally, I just have moments of being really stubborn and persistent. I beat all of Celeste, farewell and C-sides included, and that was my first taste of really hard gaming. I did that all on keyboard, which is why I started with for hollow knight. But at a certain point I felt like I was getting carpal tunnel lol, so I had to switch to controller.

And honestly, for the fighting aspect of these games, I like controller. But wow, platforming feels so jank with a joystick. I know a lot of people struggle with the diagonal pogo in Silksong, myself included, but it was wild how fast I picked it up once I switched to keyboard. For really hard pogo sections like the path leading up to the Chapel of the Beast (I think that’s what it called but I could be forgetting), I had to switch to keyboard, and then go back to controller for everything else. Am I alone in doing this lol, just curious.
