Lashes won't stay curled

Hi everyone! So, I've had this issue for a long time now but it's only recently begun to really upset me. My lashes can absolutely never hold a curl no matter what I do.

I've tried waterproof mascara, light coats, heating up my eyelash curler, etc. and nothing helps at all. My lashes fall even if I don't use any product and just curl them and it's very upsetting as I have decently long ones but they just end up straight and flat 3 minutes after curling

Just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me and has a fix. Thank you!
