Boot up issues in relation to Wayland and maybe my Huion tablet?

Support Request

I have been having consistent issues with my Huion Kamvas 13 on Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3.

When hovering my stylus over the tablet, my cursor shows on my comouter screen. I'm running Linux on a Dell 14 Pro. If i choose mirror instead of extend, it'll work, but it defeats the whole purpose of my main laptops screen, as it just goes dark after choosing mirror for whatever reason.

I thought i fixed said issue via installing OpenTabletDriver. I had numerous issues in attempting to run OpenTabletDriver despite following tutorials and doing everything right (or as right as a linux newbie can.) I decided id rather just suffer through the bs that was mirroring my screen and not having full access to my laptops screen, however i started having extensive issues installing the Huion drivers back. I had to jump through numerous loops and it was ridiculous. Yes, i completely uninstalled and restarted my laptop before attempting to reinstall the Huion drivers. I restarted my computer innumerous amounts of times during the process.

My issue comes after having successfully reinstalled the Huion Driver, and turning on Experimental Wayland because I thought it would fix my cursor issue.

My laptop will not boot automatically into Linux when I turn it on. It throws me into a screen with 3 options,

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon

- Advanced options for Linux Mints 22.3 Cinnamon

- UEFI Firmware Settings

I press enter on the first option, and nothing. I get the boot up sound, a black background and my cursor in the middle of the screens. Keybinds do not work. Moving my mouse does not work. Pressing the power button once (rest mode) does not work. Only restarting does.

I completely turn off my comouter, wait a minute or two, and start it back up. Im back on the screen with the 3 options. I press the down button and select the Advanced Options option. I am then taken to a screen with 8 options.

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 6.17.0-1032-oem

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 6.17.0-1032-oem (recovery mode)

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 7.0.0-34-generic

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 7.0.0-34-generic (recovery mode)

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 7.0.0-31-generic

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 7.0.0-31-generic (recover mode)

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 6.14.0-37-generic

- Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 6.14.0-37-generic (recovery mode)

I press enter on the first option. Same as before.

I press enter on the 7.0.0-34-generic one, same as before.

I press enter on the oem recovery mode, i get a lot of text flashed on my screen, and then a purple background with a white box titled "Recovery Menu (file system state: read-only)

(Selecting the 7.0.0-34-generic recovery mode option also does the same thing.)

I click system summary. The only concerning thing that shows in the system summary is a section that reads

LVM state

Physical Volumes: not ok (bad)

Volune Groupe: ok (good)

Idk what that means.

I press esc. I am too scared to do Repair Broken Packages because i dont want it to break my laptop. So i press enter on resume. Everything is fine. It works. Everything works. My tablet works. I dont have the cursor issue.

What's the difference between oem and generic? Is Wayland the issue? Wth fixed my cursor issue? What is an LVM state, and why does it say my Physical volumes are bad??

I just got home from an 8 hour shift at work and I'm in pain from dealing with stupid sciatica pinching. I just want to relax without stressing about my technology taking a shit on me, or spying on me more than the dark web would.
