Finally met my first griefer

Was upgrading my settlement in the expo and started taking damage. Thought it was a lightning storm but my health was dropping too fast. Barely made it to my ship and took him out. He immediately reappeared in the same system and headed towards another settlement and I managed to destroy his ship. Why are people like this???
