My Steam Frame finally arrived today! While my son was setting my headset up I quickly whipped up something that could use the prescription lenses I already had for the Quest 2 with the Steam Frame.

My original inserts have magnets so they attached magnetically to the headset so I was originally going to add places to put magnets on the 3d print so I could remove and attach the lenses easily. I couldn't find my pile of magnets so I opted for double-sided tape so I could use the headset today. Wasn't sure if the tape would be strong enough as the bits of tape are only around 4mm but it works surprisingly well. I'll probably still update the model when I find the magnets to make removal of the inserts easier when my son wants to use the headset.

I've uploaded the 3d files to MakerWorld (looks like it's still verifying though). It may help anyone else who already has inserts from another headset and either doesn't want to pay for inserts for the Steam Frame or can't get a hold of the Steam Frame ones quickly enough because of the backlog from the optical companies.

Please note that I won't be responsible for any damage caused by anyone trying this and that I'm not sure if it blocks the eye trackers from functioning correctly.
