Gay patient says Catholic chaplain refused him last rites

Oh no not this again. The priest can't break the confessional, so we'll never get an actual second side to this story. Let's just leave it be.

Isn't this the story in which the patient admits he screamed at the priest to "get the fuck out"? It's silly to demand the sacraments and absolution when you refuse to repent. It's unfortunate, but what would you expect?
