The mystery of FEZ and the beauty of reality
No big theories here, no numerelogy, just me sharing my thoughts on this magnificent game and the undertaking that is trying to make sense of the meta/post-game madness
In the same way that humans have strived for countless generations to understand the chaotic, enigmatic universe we live in, FEZ has driven us to try and understand its complexities and connections midst all the secrets and apophenia.
While we know an awful lot, at some point our understanding becomes complete mystery and guesswork. Really, what is beyond space? Does it end? Does FEZ end? Is there a solution? One we can be satisfied with?
In that same sense, we may never know Phil's reasoning behind it all, whether OwlEffigy is throwing us bones or wrenches, or if the soundtrack images really pertain to something.
But that's what makes it great. We don't know, and maybe we can't. But we can try, and it's sure as hell been a fun time. That, or we've all gone mad trapped inside our little FEZ factories.
The point is, there might not be a point.
Also, I really just wanted to say the mapscreen can be rotated, maybe that could lend itself to some kind of code as well. My two cents, whatever.
Happy travels, and I'm rooting for you all!
