Wooooow, her reasoning behind why she said "heil hitler" to this guy was absolutely ridiculous. You're gonna yell that to a Jewish man because you want to defend your president? That makes no sense whatsoever. The fake crying at the end just goes to show how incredibly immature this lady is. Complete moron.

Edit: I misheard what the lady said in the video and thought she was defending Obama but is against him. Reasoning for saying "heil hitler" is still stupid.

elohel88•

You realize she was against Obama, not for him, right? She wasn't defending him, she was acting out against a man she presumed was defending him.

31
yournameheree•

Ohhh I think I heard wrong then lol oops. Still a ridiculous reason to say that to anyone though.

11
Legitsu•

I'm sure you agree, so don't take this wrong, but "Heil Hitler" is absolutely uncalled for no matter what situation you may find yourself in. Well, maybe it's OK on the new South Park game, because sometimes maybe we need to make fun and light of Hitler and his ilk; but never of their crimes or the hatred they unleashed. Hatred that runs deep to this day, hatred that will exists in the hearts of wretched souls for many generations to come still.

6
yournameheree•

Yeah I totally agree with you when you say sometimes we should try to make a light joke out of it, after all humor is a good way to kind of break the tension in a bad situation but I mean you can clearly tell this guy was already agitated as it was and this woman was just so cruel and mean to say what she said. And even afterwards she acted so immaturely about the whole thing, it's unbelievable. But I definitely agree with you about making a joke out of it sometimes, people just have to understand that sometimes it's not the best time for a joke.

Crowbarmagic•

I really like how he also made the point that pro universal healthcare ≠ pro Obama, although that message is probably wasted on her.

8
GoodGrades•

She was against Obama, not for him.

2
zetapi•

What a stupid, immature, ignorant, uneducated, grown ass woman. No sympathy for any hardship she may bring upon herself because for certain if she is to come upon hardship she has brought it upon herself.

She's a horrible person.I hope she regretted this...

Yeah no, trust me she did not. People who fall back on fake tears are manipulative pieces of shit and their ilk don't feel bad the way you're hoping she will. At worst she'd feel bad for not looking better in that situation

Hope this woman loses whatever job or retirement she has...and has to live on the street like so many of our veterans.

16
The_Mermaid•

How do you lose a retirement?

-6
ElKodiakSTL•

Along the topic of health care, my grandfather had to cash in his entire retirement fund in including the pension he received from the army, when my grandma passed away. The hospital she was getting treatment from said the insurance company was going to only cover certain things, he had to cash out over 100k because the hospital was going to sue him for much more. So at the age of 55 he had to bury his wife whom he'd been with since the age of 17 and completely start over again financially.

theaftstarboard•

Dunno. Ask a lawmaker near you?

1
bowserchomp•

The real Morbid Reality behind this, is that this shit RIGHT HERE is, in fact, typical everyday American politics. You talk about universal healthcare here in the USA, you get called Hitler or communist.

16
The_Mermaid•

This is not an every day occurrence. I've been called a socialist for wanting universal healthcare (and I am a socialist, so there's no insult there), but I have never had someone shout "Heil Hitler" at me, for any reason.

-4
Dr_Nikk•

He's saying that the mentioning of "nationalized" anything will get you the label of "socialist" when discussing politics with right-wingers in the US. I do not think he was suggesting the "heil Hitler" comment was a daily occurrence.

7
The_Mermaid•

I would agree with your point. But the comment I replied to seemed to imply that whenever someone speaks out in favor of universal healthcare, people loudly heckle you.

In my experience, most people are respectful, even if they don't agree.

0
Dr_Nikk•

I actually have not discussed politics for about 5 years now because very few people can actually carry a discussion respectfully.

4
Crushed_Lower_Back•

Maybe it's never been said to you directly but the groupthink on universal healthcare is that it's the first stepping stone in turning America into a communist dictatorship. For some reason (that I have yet to fully understand) the idea of universal healthcare is viewed as a Trojan horse that somehow contains the banning of guns, the destruction of capitalism and perhaps a zombified Lenin, Stalin and Marx taking turns urinating on an apple pie and Major League Baseball.

6
The_Mermaid•

LOL :)

I don't doubt that a lot of people feel that way. The point I was making, though, is that most people won't heckle you when you talk about universal healthcare, or really any other political issue. This is an unusual incident, for someone to be that rude when you are discussing politics.

In an extended video, she yells even more abuse at him. I wonder what she would have done if that guy said something about 9/11.

12
jorahlindsay•

9/11 is really not on par with the Holocaust. Like, at all.

And Israelis had absolutely nothing to do with it, so it's pretty irrelevant.

8
Grandiose_Claims•

The extended video for anyone who was curious.

Edit: bonus footage of her being interviewed BEFORE the altercation at the same event.

Wow..... The men that defend her are pieces of work...

5
neonblue•

I can't possibly watch that shit, I'd probably throw my face through the monitor

2
wellitsbouttime•

just watched the extended cut. she gets worse.

2
Trey-fantastico•

Why would he have brought that up at all? Israel mourned with us on 9/11.

1†
MissWeeble•

I don't think brb1006's implication was that the man speaking was pro-terrorist, so much as bringing up 9/11 would have been equally hurtful, irrelevant, and ignorant.

Reach_14•

She is wearing an Israel Defense Forces shirt, why is she shouting Hiel Hitler? I think she might be very confused. Crappy picture for reference: http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mfarBiYnBsAsefQSUfEzGBg.jpg view of shirt in video http://youtu.be/sHsUi2Hu4Ug?t=4m25s

10
OGrilla•

Not at all confused. She's supporting Israel because it will bring about Armageddon and Christ's return. These conservative evangelicals literally want to watch the world burn so they can go to Heaven on a magic carpet ride.

Perhaps she was wearing it ironically? That is very bizarre.

Is it bad that that the fake crying pissed me off and not the "Heil Hitler"?

3
Efraing14•

I think it's the fact that the fake cry indicates that she has to use childish insults to get her point across. And no matter how hard anyone would try to intelligently point out to her that her views are wrong, they would just never get through to her. A true lost cause... That and the fact that she is poisoning the minds of her peers

3
Starbuck8757•

Dude she's even wearing an IDF t-shirt, wtf.

(IDF = Israeli Defense Force)

3
[deleted]MOD•

OP, this isn't very morbid or disturbing (see rule 3). I think this post would do much better at r/rage or r/cringe.

Crushed_Lower_Back•

I remember seeing this video awhile back. How old is it?

Looks like about 5 years judging by another video in the thread.
