I think that Legend (V shape in a hexagon) might be alluding to the Triforce in "Legend" of Zelda?
You collect gold pieces of the triforce in the first LoZ. The is a parallel with the pieces of the hexahedron. Also with the shape of the object being part of its name.
probably a coincidence, the Triforce (as we know it today) was originally meant to be computer chips.
There is a poster of the first LOZ title screen in gomez room. In the indie game documentary and various interviews, we know that Phil considers Mario, Tetris, and Zelda to be the trifecta of gaming. Fez is a love letter to that era and those games.
something I noticed a while back, look at the overworld map for the first LOZ
'Legend', the song itself was constructed using major thirds, you can read this on disasterpeace's website.
Modulating in major thirds is known to create an equilateral triangle in the circle of fifths (the pic is of an equilateral triangle but one of the sides missing). John Coltrane was famous for modulating in major thirds. He was also obsessed with triangles. But anyways, as a composer, this is just one of those things you know.
The song might also allude to the tetrahedron inside of a metatrons cube but idk.
I think that given how the letter cube code was embedded in the ST images, via adjacent images, it's no surprise to me, assuming this theory is true, that the image of Rover (which we now know represents the hexahedron) is right before Memory (which is a smiley face, happy memories of that era, of childhood spent gaming.) which is actually overlapping Legend (which would be the triforce, and/or inspiration behind the hexahedron)
what do you guys think?
