[Build Help] Need to upgrade from integrated to dedicated graphics, don't know what my limitations are...

I have this HP desktop computer, details here, and I want to get a decent gpu [so I can stream games from my gaming pc, in hd].

But, I'm not clear on the limitations of the PCI E x 16 slot...

I'm looking at the GTX 750Ti, but it says it's a PCI E 3.0 technology... Does that mean the bus needs to be PCI 3.0? or...

Also, why is this only $50?

Please assist. I am not good at this stuff :\

While the 750 Ti is a great option that would give you solid performance without having to change the PSU, sadly it looks like that tower requires a low profile bracket. Notice how much smaller the one installed on the card is. You may have to look around for a HD 7750 or similar for that form factor.

Or pull the heatsink off a different card.

I see. I don't think the card needs to anything too powerful, I can currently stream Titanfall without any issues, other than the resolution being at 1280 x 768 [resulting in odd letterboxing] -- performance is fine, even with the integrated graphics.

I just want something that can get me up to 1080p.

Would this work?

It will work, but it's kind of a crappy GPU and I really don't think it's worth $50.

To make sure I've got the low profile requirement correct, it would be very helpful if you could upload a picture of the rear of the tower, perhaps with a tape measure along a PCI bracket. I just can't tell from the images I'm finding whether it's actually that slim or not.
