I feel like a nice person today, so here is a template version of my Google Spreadsheet for managing my flipping.
The spreadsheet I use to manage my flipping has evolved a bit over time, but here is a template version of the current incarnation. I like Google Docs a lot for this kind of work since it is free and can be synced and updated on any smart-ish device.

Transaction Log is for entering every item you buy and sell, including prices, fees and amount you saved for taxes (or not, you sneaky bastards). I like coloring the left-most cell so I can see the status of my items at a quick glance.

Analysis is where the magic happens. This sheet lets you track your hours worked, items bought and sold, profit earned, taxes saved, etc. I also included the breakdown of what categories of item and what places you bought from so you can see what areas or your flipping game are most profitable. There are a lot of formulas at work here, so please ask questions This sheet only includes bought/sold items that have a date next to them (column D for bought, column O for sold.)

Hours Log is very important. In my opinion, this hobby is not really worth it if you aren't making a decent profit. If you continuously record your hours as you go shopping, ship stuff, list things on eBay, etc, then you will have a more accurate picture of what your hourly earnings are (and whether you should actually quit your day job.

Other Expenses is a catch-all for anything else you spend money on related to your flipping. Packing materials, gas for driving to thrift stores, whatever. If you put it in here, it will be counted as a business expense.
Please provide comments if you have any since I am always looking to improve.
EDIT: there are no ungrateful assholes :)
