Prog Album of the Week - Week 34 (04/14/2014): King Crimson - Discipline

As always, we encourage participation from everyone - if you've never heard the album, there's a YouTube link provided! Go check it out and report back!

Welcome to the thirty-fourth week of r/progrockmusic's Album of the Week! Last week we discussed Perfect Beings' Perfect Beings and that was lovely.

If you'd like to peruse previous weeks' discussions, please visit the archive.

Some more 80's stuff, this certainly has some New-Wave influence, some hard rock, some experimental stuff, and what is going on with those guitars? Cool stuff, that's for sure.

####Potential Discussion Questions:

• Like all King Crimson albums, this is some obviously influential stuff. Bill Bruford said " When you want to hear where music is going in the future, you put on a King Crimson album." How true is this?

• How would you personally rate the album?

• Are there any moments on the album you consider particularly strong or particularly weak (i.e., favourite/least favourite moments)?
