Soul Memory is really cramping my style.

As a Sunbro I've come to love the co-op in Dark Souls 2 (the feeling of helping somebody with a fight that you yourself struggled with is an awesome feeling), and as someone who never really used the co-op system of the 1st game - I really dislike soul memory. Because of soul memory I can't really help others with bosses that I actually like fighting, like the Old Iron King for instance. Yes, maybe there's somebody on that boss with nearly the same amount of soul memory as myself, but the chances get lower and lower the more I play and that really sucks.

Eventually your bracket is every player over a certain threshold. If you get to NG+, your multiplayer pool will never diminish after you break (I think) 15 million, and you can sunbro for people in every NG+ above and below you other than standard NG (first playthrough).

Yep! NG+ is definitely a big change this time around too, which I'm a big fan of.

Keep playing. They designed it so players continue onto NG++. There's 31 bosses for your sunbroing pleasure. Also it's not very fun for players who are attempting a boss with you and your maxed out and know the boss so well after continuously beating him that you can take him out for the host with ease. It ruins the challenge, which is what makes the game fun for many. Try the NG+ versions of iron king. You'll find more players and a more rewarding experience

Oh really? Well I'm almost finished with the game so I suppose I can try it out soon. Thanks for the info!
