Prog Album of the Week - Week 37 (05/05/2014): Rush - Permanent Waves

As always, we encourage participation from everyone - if you've never heard the album, there's a YouTube link provided! Go check it out and report back!

Welcome to the thirty-seventh week of r/progrockmusic's Album of the Week! Last week we discussed Ian Anderson's Homo Erraticus and that was lovely.

If you'd like to peruse previous weeks' discussions, please visit the archive.

Back to some more 80's stuff. When I think 80's prog, I think Rush!

####Potential Discussion Questions:

• This one's definitely different from their previous albums. The 80's tends to do that to bands, and Rush is definitely included. How do you like the change in sound?

• How would you personally rate the album?

• Are there any moments on the album you consider particularly strong or particularly weak (i.e., favourite/least favourite moments)?
