Bleed Stone Improves Lightning Scaling?
So I was trying to find out if adding a bolt stone to my Dragonslayer's Crescent Axe would improve scaling and it didn't, however a bleedstone did. With only 20 damage taken off the raw physical and adding a whole lot more to Lightning and then an extra 120 to bleed damage I think I found my new favorite weapon.
Is this a glitch??

No, some of the weapons just have unique scalings when infused. Blue Flame gets an overall boost for bleed/poison scaling. Other weapons, such as the defender's sword at +5, go from an A faith scaling to an S faith scaling with a lightning infusion.
