Remnant Radio - Official Page
Hello again, all! I've finally got my Minecraft back to working order again (turns out college Internet was cutting it off), so I'm back in the game when I can be. This page will new serve as the Official Page for Remnant Radio. All playlists and official updates will be located here.
Remnant Radio: Get To Work (32 songs, 2 hr 51 min)
Pack your bags from home and slowly transition to the neat grooves from "Perception" as you travel to work. Upon arrival, you'll know you're ready to do some kickass business with "The Core" as your personal executive soundtrack.
Remnant Radio: Remain Calm (26 songs, 2 hr 7 min)
A strikingly-Minecraft "Polyrytmi" starts you off on common ground. But when the start-up chime from Kraftwerk's "Prologue" pans, you'll know you're ready to experience Remnant Radio's empyrean sounds from the ether.
Notes:
-
Both playlists have mid-way starting points. If you've been stuck listening to the same tracks over and over, find Daft Punk's "Nightvision" to begin the music from the halfway point and discover some cool new music!
-
Spotify benefits from bringing faster buffer time and track crossfading, but suffers from ads if you are a free user.
-
YouTube benefits from bringing more songs and no ads for Adblock users, but suffers from slower buffer times.
UPDATE: 05/11/2014
New changes have bring two new playlists. One for work, and one for thinking. The previous all-encompassing Radio Remnant playlist contained 4 1/2 hours of music. This meant that unless you played for 4+ hours, you likely only heard the same few songs over and over.
To aid players in the discovery of other tunes, the playlists have separated into more digestible 2 and 3 hour counterparts. In addition, I have shuffled the songs to help keep the music fresh.
Keep on rockin'!
