Plain and simple, people seem to like the wild side of 5v5 so that should be the casual and the people that want something more balanced and competitive can play ranked siege. Best of both worlds

But then you cant even practice 4v4 siege. I hate the 5v5 sieges. It's just too much having to always make sure your lanes are even and accounting for that one god that ran off into the jungle and now you don't know if he'll come up behind you or go to another lane but the only good thing to do is let them push you to tower so you don't get annihilated by a gank that might have never actually been coming to you. Yeah, you could ward, but being that siege is mainly about what kind of ganking you can do it just makes it harder on everyone to constantly buy wards to cover half of the jungle every 3 minutes to avoid 1 gank from anywhere. 4v4 would make it harder to farm the jungles because you need 2 people in lane at all time. Of course then the meta could go 1v1 and 2v2 lanes while someone jungles, but i thin that's better than the cluster fuck of one sided teamfights and gankings siege brings us now.
Yes but that would upset the pre-mades who just like to stop people in 4v4 now.
