How important are your organic chemistry grades for grad school consideration?

It would be hard to see how any of the introductory organic chemistry relates directly to neuro, outside of what can be readily looked up, but is a B/B- level a killer for the top-tier programs?

Precisely what you do doesn't matter as much as how well you do it. A person who gets stellar marks and recommendations in physics, chemistry, physiology or psychology is likely to do well in neuroscience irrespective of the particulars of the courses they did. I can't imagine the admission folk worrying a lot about you getting a B- in organic chemistry. I can imagine them worrying about you getting a B-, however, especially if there are several of them.
