I saw this yesterday on twitch, but didn't look into it. Looks like a really nice feature.

If you have a large audience or are getting tons of random views. I might be good to stop putting annotations at the very beginning of videos since annotations set on YouTube tale priority and will be displayed first

I wonder if it true that Twitch is bought by Google? Chance are, it may be confirmed, even though Twitch/Google did not make any announcement. Get ready for content ID matches coming to Twitch. Oh, and turn that music off!

Don't be such a negative Nancy. Have a bit of optimism that Google wont mess with twitch too much. I am not expecting things to go one way or another I am just waiting to see how it goes.

haven't really tried it, but it's very nice for those who stream frequently as well. If i'm not mistaking, every single video will have the annotation on it, so it's way better to reach you're viewers than to upload a new video telling them you're about to stream. more people will see it and be able to join while you're still streaming.

Even nonsubscribers too. If you get say 5,000 views per day (let's assume linearly spaced), and you stream for 3 hours, then over 600 people will see that little popup, sure not many will click but still good exposure.
